Steel garage doors are the most popular choice for Central Indiana homes.  They are durable, secure and easy to maintain.   Steel doors come in several grades, models and colors with many upgrade options.   Before deciding on a new garage door, it’s good to have a basic understanding of how the various models are constructed.

SINGLE-LAYER STEEL CONSTRUCTION

Single-layer doors are ideal for detached garages or buildings that require no insulation.  While they do an excellent job of keeping out the wind, snow and rain.. they afford no protection against heat loss.

Chose a single-layer steel garage door for a low cost way to get a great looking new garage door.  Warranties ranges from 10-15 years depending on the model and manufacturer.

We look for the best quality and only sell products made to withstand demanding daily use.  Doors are available in the most popular colors and sizes. Non-insulated doors can be fitted with decorative windows and trim along with many other options.

DOUBLE-LAYER STEEL CONSTRUCTION

When cost is a concern but you need the added benefit of an insulated garage door, consider a double-layer steel garage door.  This door is built with the same demanding specifications as the single-layer door.. but, it has custom-fit insulation panels added.

These polystyrene panels have an easy to clean vinyl backing applied to them.  Depending on the model chosen, insulation values range from R-6 to R-8.

Any of the non-insulated garage door options can be fitted onto the upgraded, insulated version.

TRIPLE-LAYER STEEL CONSTRUCTION

For most people, a triple-layer steel door offers the best in both insulation quality and durability. Our selection of triple-layer garage doors is unmatched in the Central Indiana area with offerings from manufacturers such as Wayne-Dalton, Clopay, Amarr, CHI and many others.

Many of our premium models come with a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

Available in both 1 3/8″ and 2″ door thicknesses with either polystyrene or polyurethane insulation… up to an R-15 insulation value!
