Telephone/Video Access Systems Provide Audiovisual Alerts to Businesses
Gone are the days when businesses were required to station a security guard at an entrance to ensure only desired visitors entered. Using today’s technology, businesses can communicate with visitors before they’ve entered the property, granting access only once they’ve verified a visitor’s identity.
Telephone access systems have been used for decades, with visitors simply picking up the phone or pressing a button to dial property owners.
These systems are relatively affordable compared to video access systems, which station a camera at access points to provide visual identification of visitors.
Both systems can be installed for a fraction of what they cost a decade ago, however, increasing security and eliminating the need for security personnel.
